ROOMS

We have individually designed our rooms, all of which have king size beds (except Room 2 which has a super king bed) with luxury mattresses, Flat Screen LCD Smart TVs, hairdryers and a tea and coffee tray. We also have free wi-fi access in the house and garden. Our duvets and pillows are goose down, but synthetic bedding can be made available on request. Our sheets are 400 thread Egyptian Cotton.

All our rooms are en-suite, with pima cotton towels and bathrobes. Please note that we do not have wardrobes in any of our rooms (except Room 3 which has a small wardrobe). This was a conscious design decision to keep the rooms as light and spacious as possible. Storage is available (in bedside drawers or cabinets) and each room has an interesting row of wall hooks.

All our bathrooms have lovely products hand made by Pure Nuff Stuff here in Penzance. Pure Nuff Stuff’s products are natural and eco-friendly. All the rooms have shower gel, shampoo and handwash.

ROOM 1

Good-sized double with small ensuite shower room (with rainwater shower). Room 1 has a large bay window and great views out to Penlee Park. This high-ceilinged room with stripped and painted floorboards features a beautiful original grey marble fireplace and a panoramic bay window.

ROOM 2

Spacious double with ensuite shower and super king size double bed. With corniced high ceilings and stripped painted floors, Room 2 features a double window seat with views across the front garden towards Penlee Park and a stunning cast iron fireplace.

ROOM 3

Smaller double with large ensuite bathroom, looking out over our back garden. This room features the original cast iron fireplace and a mid-century sideboard and cocktail chair. The “antler” hanging hooks were reclaimed from the Savoy Hotel’s old cloakroom in London. The spacious bathroom has a marble floor, freestanding bath and large separate walk in shower.

ROOM 4

Spacious double room on our second floor with large ensuite bathroom with freestanding bathtub and separate shower. The room features the original cast iron fireplace and has a sofa, mid-century furnishings and a stunning painting by Richard Ballinger.

ROOM 5

Small double with ensuite rainwater shower. This room looks out over our back garden and features a fabulous 1950’s cocktail chair re-upholstered in pink, a painting by Paul Wadsworth and replica antler hanging hooks.
